Carre Saunders
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER / INTERIM V.P.
Carré has had a dynamic life shaped by her experiences as a military brat, moving around frequently throughout their childhood. Growing up, she shared her home with a variety of pets, including dogs and cats, which fueled her early aspiration to become a veterinarian. This passion for animals led her to the University of Florida, where she majored in Animal Sciences. After graduating in 2000, Carré moved to South Florida where she became involved in the Broward County Gator Club®, serving in multiple board positions, including president.
In 2011, Carré returned to Gainesville to join UF's development team as a front-line fundraiser for IFAS working with Extension and 4-H primarily and then she transitioned to the UF Health Cancer Center. Although fulfilling, Carré decided to step back from fundraising in 2019 and transition to the Alumni Relations team, leading the Gator Club® and Affiliate Group program. This role allows her to leverage her experience as a former Gator Club® leader to lead more than 600 volunteers around the country.
At home, Carré enjoys the company of two cats and a sweet Labrador named Harper. Her personal and professional journeys reflect a deep commitment to service, community, and the well-being of others. -

Beth Hunt
SECRETARY
"The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog." ~ Mark Twain (maybe)
Beth has loved dogs her entire life, but the deep affection was solidified with a boxer puppy named Tasha: a gift from Beth’s grandparents for her 10th birthday and the first dog of her own. Since that fateful day, Beth’s love for our four-legged friends has only grown, as has her dedication to encouraging safe socialization practices for all dogs and their people.
Trained as a teacher & librarian, organization and communication are Beth’s bread & butter, and she doesn’t mind steering a few unfocused dogs (or humans) when needed, either. She loves to spend time with her partner, Travis, and their blind rescue mutt, Tali (pictured).

Diana Vazquez
EDUCATION COORDINATOR
“If the kindest souls were rewarded with the longest lives, dogs would outlive us all.” - Unknown
Diana has always loved and been surrounded by dogs, but she never had the opportunity to have one of her own. When she was finally able to bring a dog of her own home, she began to truly understand how deep the connection between human and dog was. Having studied early childhood education, she used her knowledge and applied it to her dog’s training—combining her two passions for teaching and dogs into one. She loves to share all that she has learned and is quick to jump in and offer advise if needed, or just to give some words of encouragement if the challenge becomes too hard.
In her free time, Diana loves spending time with her daughters, taking her fur babies Max & Luna on adventures, and learning how to tend her new garden. -
Kai Greenberg
AKC EVALUATOR & PUPPY COACH
Kai's passion for animals and the environment began in their childhood home, which doubled as a sanctuary for litters of puppies, foster pets, and any creature in need of care. This early exposure ignited a deep commitment to helping others and nurturing their love for training puppies. As Kai became an adult, their understanding and affinity for guiding dogs grew, particularly through their experience in training their goofball, Nugget. This journey has not only expanded Kai's knowledge of canine psychology but also strengthened their bond with Nugget, affirming their belief in positive training methods to foster well-behaved and joyful dogs.
Despite facing physical challenges, Kai remains dedicated to supporting causes aligned with their values. They strongly believe in Oh Hey, Dog!'s mission of promoting accessibility and fostering community. -
Harrison Cooney
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Harrison fell in love with visual arts from a really young age. To him, there's something so intrinsically beautiful about capturing a fleeting moment of time. Especially when the subject is as fast paced and emotionally rich as our dog group! He says it's an honor to be able to connect with these dogs and study their behavior through a lens.
