At Oh Hey, Dog!, we believe that training isn’t just about commands — it’s about building trust, confidence, and connection between Guardians and their dogs. Our community programs are designed to make behavior support accessible, approachable, and even fun!

From playgroups and pack walks to relaxed picnics and field trips, each experience offers real-world learning opportunities with our Coaches on-hand to guide and encourage.

Learn. Play. Repeat.

So whether you’re looking to help your dog gain confidence in new environments, burn off some energy, or simply practice being calm in a new environment, there’s a place for you and your pup in the Oh Hey, Dog! community!

PLAYGROUP

Unstructured play, structured support

Join us at Tom Petty Dog Park on Saturdays and Sundays for community play sessions open to all dogs. Our coaches are on hand to help decode behavior, guide positive interactions, and empower guardians to support and advocate for their dogs in safe, joyful play.

PACKWALKS

Confidence in real-world environments

Join us for weekend packwalks designed to build confidence, leash skills, and calm engagement in public spaces. Our coaches are on hand to help decode behavior, support reactive dogs, and empower guardians with practical tools for real-world walks.

Saturday Packwalk (low–mid stimulus): Veterans Memorial Park (Gainesville, FL). A calmer environment with more space to practice steady walking, check-ins, and decompression at your dog’s pace.

Sunday Packwalk (high stimulus): Depot Park (Gainesville, FL). A busier setting with more sights, sounds, and distractions—perfect for practicing leash manners, confidence, and advocacy skills in an urban-style environment.

WEDNESDAY TRAILBLAZERS

Adventure together in nature

On Wednesday mornings, our pack walks rotate to new locations each month, usually in county parks. While exploring the trails, our coaches provide real-time guidance to help address reactivity, leash manners, and teach guardians practical skills for navigating challenges — all while enjoying fresh air and good company.

DO NOTHING PICNICS

The art of slowing down

On the first Sunday of every month, we gather for picnics that alternate between Swamp Head Brewery and Veterans Memorial Park. These relaxed sessions teach dogs (and their humans!) the skill of settling and simply “doing nothing.” With two environments to choose from — the quieter park or the busier brewery — dogs can practice calm behavior at the pace that’s right for them. Attend either location or both!
